Here is something I already learned today. People have been stealing so much stuff from the hospital cafeteria, that the cafeteria staff must now patrol the entrance. It turns out thieves are coming into the cafeteria through the entrance from the hospital then exiting out the same way. Here’s the kicker…almost all these thefts have been caught on tape and almost all are committed by EMPLOYEES. These culprits are not your low-on-the-totem-pole employees like me, they are the people caring for you when you get hurt, or when you are having a baby, or when you need a ‘roid cleaved off.

I spoke to one of the cafeteria staff at the door and she told me that when some of these employees were confronted, the main excuse was :
“I am too busy and don’t have time to pay“.

Today I learned that if you are too busy doing things, stealing is OK.
