During my sickness I needed to get a humidifier to keep my brain hydrated, and it has been a great purchase because I get up in the mornings without a dry throat. The weather here in CO has turned pretty chilly in the evenings and my gas heater runs all night. My bill for December was a nice $150 with gas accounting for $120 of that. Fuck the gas use so I bought an electric radiating space heater. My room is now warm and humid in the mornings, almost the same environment as a Florida swamp in the summer.
I had to move to CO from TN to learn the best way to sleep is in a sauna.
