The dead car, that is. The Accord now has life! I spent half the day charging the battery, cleaning the inside and just doing general maintenance on her in anticipation of the big day. The Durango (AKA the anchor) goes away on Wednesday and good riddance. This debacle of a “loan” gets closer to being cleared up when the Anchor leaves my possession in 2 days. I am looking forward to being payment freeeeeeeee! Woooohoooo!!!
Car payments rot and anyone who says otherwise is a sucker. I know they’re a necessary evil for those who can’t buy a vehicle outright, which is just about everyone, but this car has been a weight around my neck since I left my cushy job in Nashville.
Anyway, the Accord just needs a new radio and rear driver-side window and she’ll be ready to rock. Yes, this is the same break-in that has not been fixed since March 10, 2003. I know that date because it was broken into the first day of work for me after being unemployed for 11 months. I will give it a ton of TLC now. Anyone know where I can get a car alarm that sprays mace?
