I tried to cancel my cable last week until I was informed that June would be free. It was some promotion I signed in November where I get the 1st, 7th and 13th month free, but I did tell them I’d be calling back at the end of June to cancel. Anyway, they have started this service called On Demand that lets one view most shows whenever one wants. It’s like Tivo without having to mess with the programming. The HBO On Demand channel has every current season episode of The Sopranos so I watched about 4 of them last night. The OD service works like a DVD player with the ability to pause the program whenever you like, just what a lazy man needs to become lazier.
It’s a pretty good service from Comcast, but I’m wondering what took them so long to roll this out?
