Gray and miserable. All I want to do is sleep out here because of the weather. It’s been so dreary and rainy, but the cool thing is that we had a thunderstorm last night that lasted ALL night which I haven’t had the pleasure of hearing since I moved to Denver.
I’m actually looking forward to the drive now. Mike’s 4Runner and bike are sweet so it will be a pleasure to haul them 1400 miles back home. Marines sure don’t skimp on their vehicles.
I got my parents into the 21st Century and hooked them up with high-speed Internet access and rebuilt their PC. What good is being a computer geek if you can’t help out the ones you love? I’ll tell you what good - they’ll use it to check email once a month. At least I’m able to use the Internet when I come home. It’s worth it for me. Oh, I canceled AOL while I was here…those of you who’ve tried to do this know my pain. It took 20 minutes to get it through the obviously-outsourced customer rep’s head that I just wanted to cancel. She couldn’t believe her outsourced ears when I told her exactly what I thought about AOL. I did it nicely, though.
Happy Thanksgiving to all you suckers stuck in airports. I feel your pain, bitches!
