FINALLY! I’m online and it turns out that my Linksys router was the culprit that was keeping my Mac off the Internet. I replaced it with the 54Mb router I’ve been too lazy to install until now. Goodbye Windows…well, at least for my day to day stuff. Among other things, the native fonts just look better in OS X.
At least this propitiates the urge to buy a G5.
