1 hour to departure. I just changed some of my money in for yen. I have 50,000 yen. I think I can buy a watermelon or a head of lettuce with that. LAX is nicer than I remember.

Whew. I made it to the airport after having a tough time getting to sleep. The only thing that kept me up last night was the anticipation of getting to the airport…for some people watching. It’s like crack for the G-rated voyeur. The day started off well. I’m on vacation.

Frontier is the airline of choice for crying babies and prepubescent, obstinate kids. I feel as if I’m at a Chuck E. Cheese birthday party - in the “Hell” location. There is no good people watching either.

Downtown sure is a different animal on the weekends. My regular trainstop today is full of drunken assholes and gangbangers (or wanna-be’s at least).
